Macef September begins on Thursday
Macef
– the International Home Show - is changing: new dates, new sectors, great events and above all, numerous promotional and communication projects.The up-coming edition will be held for the first time from Thursday to Sunday (9th to 12th September), for the convenience of buyers and retailers, who form the main category of operators visiting the expo. Alongside the traditional sectors of High-class decoration, Table, Silver & Kitchen Ware, Giftware, Trade & Big volume, Bijoux, gold, fashion & accessories, operators will find three new areas: Outdoor, Gardening and Pets – a sector dedicated to outdoor living and pets. There is a packed programme of events. Projects reconfirmed to date are Creazioni - in cooperation with Artex, Centre for Artistic and Traditional Handicrafts of Tuscany, and Creazioni Designer both devoted to innovation and quality craftsmanship (Hall 5); Art & Flowers by Macef (Hall 4), an international exhibition/competition for floral designers and the event Art, Table and Gift Arts, (Hall 3) aimed at the world of distribution and development of product culture in this sector. And then Macef has new communication and promotional tools, to confirm its status as a platform for SMEs as well as for famous names. There is a totally revamped website (www.macef.it ) – and there are two large “live” projects: Macef in road show and Progetto invito Italia. The first is a veritable “giro d’Italia” organised by Macef together with some of its most prestigious brand names: Villeroy & Boch, Alessi, Lladṛ and Venini. Starting 24th April until 21st June with 9 stops (Catania, Taranto, Caserta, Rome, Treviso, Riccione, Milan, Turin and Lucca), companies will meet their local customers for a preview of collections and products. Worthy of note, the stop in the capital, to be attended by numerous exhibitors-supporters, including Ballarini, Arcucci Trade and Rogaska. Progetto invito Italia is a promotional tool designed to encourage visits by operators from the central-southern regions, to whom Macef will offer hotel accommodation and shuttle bus plus free admittance to the show, all at the giveaway price of €60.
