EIRE Expo Italia Real Estate the trade fair dedicated to the property sector and Italian and Mediterranean real estate, held its sixth edition at fieramilano, 8th-10th June 2010. Statistics matched those of the previous edition an excellent result, in opposition to the sectors trend: 35,000 sqm of exhibition space, 473 companies and organisations present, over 1,000 professional operators from more than 50 countries, over 300 registered journalists and 100 between conventions, seminars and booth events. The most important names from the Mediterranean took part, with various types of large-scale projects, from residential to retail. Strong overseas interest with exhibitors from: Turkey, Brazil, Montenegro, Romania, Nicaragua, Malta, Hungary and Slovenia. Big success for the section called the Social Housing Exhibition, first of its kind in Europe, with 72 exhibitors and 86 projects presented. A positive trend, deriving from thorough promotional efforts, particularly on overseas buyers all over the world. Strong presence was notable from Japan, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. High fashion moment of this 33rd edition was the catwalk: the possibility of seeing the dresses worn and in movement made it easier to appreciate their beauty, born of perfect tailoring. Convivio 2010, a charity event to collect funds in favour of ANLAIDS Lombardy Section, closed its tenth edition with a sum of 2 million 126 thousand Euro. The consumer crisis did not affect the generosity of the over 52 thousand visitors who, over six days, were able to buy designer clothes at truly bargain prices. 104 fashion names took part, more than 240 thousand products were on sale, with 800 volunteers helping. Convivio is not just fund-raising to combat AIDS its chief aim is to raise awareness and inform about prevention, to increase the social responsibility of single citizens. There were 6,187 buyers present (up 12% compared with 2009) at Sė Sposaitalia Collezioni, international trade fair dedicated to the wedding sector at fieramilanocity. Excellent results were registered from overseas markets, which grew 14%. 159 brands took part (+5.2% compared with the 2009 edition) to present their 2011 collections of wedding and formal wear, for men and women. |
