This month:
Funds available for opening new foreign markets.
There are approximately 10 million euro set aside by the Milan Chamber of Commerce together with Lombardy Unioncamera and the Lombardy Region. In particular the following calls for proposals have been promoted:
1. Vouchers for economic missions abroad – For Lombardy SME’s which particate in Entrepreneurial missions abroad developed by specialised structures which Will assist in the reseach and selection of local parters, and for logistics services (travel planning, interpreters) and for business meeting set-up;
2. Multiservice vouchers – For Lombardy SME’s which purchase services useful for internationalisation from recognised suppliers. The services can be regards Sector analysis, market research, training/information, agent searches and distributors;
3. Vouchers for International trade fairs abroad – The contribution is intended to cover expenses such as the rental of exhibition space, translation and interpreting services, stand furnishing and the transporting of sample materials.
Activities to assist access to credit for Milanese SME’s – 2010 edition: 2 million euro set aside for this activity in order to facilitate the creation of one or more of the following:
Action 1: Productive Investment Programmes (promoted in conjunction with Milan Town Council)
- Activity 2: Operations aimed at increasing company wealth
- Activity 3: Programmes aimed at requalifying the financial structure (promoted in conjucnction with the Province of Milan)
- Activity 4: Company cash flow analysis and credit audits
Vouchers for research and development and human resources development to enhance tecnological innovation processes within micro, small and medium Lombardy enterprises.
3 million euro to stimulate the innovative processes of Lombardy businesses. The activities promoted range from technological innovation, to environmental protection, to human resource development.
Call for proposals for human resource training and employment support Young people in SME’s
As of the 21st June 2010 until 15th September 2010 the Milan Chamber of Commerce will make available to the micro, small and medium businesses of Milan and its Province area one million euro of non-returnable funds up to a value of 3,000 per business inititive which foresee the transformation of temporary work contracts for Young people between the ages of 20 and 29 (including trainees) into permanent employee contracts.
Call for proposal for new digital technologies for increased Milan SME competitiveness
From 30th June to 30th July 2010 it will be possible to present to the Milan Chamber of Comerce online requests to participate in the new call for proposals which will set aside 2 ˝ million euro for investments in the ICT sector (IT and Communication).
Call for proposals for the trade fair Matching 2010
From the 19th July 2010 until 31st October 2010 it will be possible to obtain a voucher for a value of 800 euro to participate in the trade fair Matching which will be held in the exhibition centre of Rho/Pero from 22nd – 24th November 2010

is the new Milan Chamber of Commerce web service that will allow businesses to explain what they are about by uploading company videos.
The aim is to let others know about the businesses within the Milanese network, by uploading videos made by YouImpresa together with La7, Telecom Italia and Matrix, in order to make an online library of companies.
The videos, before going online, will be aired on the news programme at 12 midday of La7 with an average of 400 thousand viewers. Special TV reports will then recount, via videos, the latest activities in terms of conventions and seminars, sevices, and research which the Chamber of Commerce is promoting.
