United Nations at Sicurezza 2010

Sicurezza 2010 (Safety), the trade fair dedicated to anti-intrusion, fire detection, personal protection home and building automation, intelligence and anti-terrorism, products and services for the police and private secrurity guards, can count this year on an exceptional partner: Unicri, the United Nations agency for the fight against crime.


Unicri will tackle the theme of public/private sector cooperation on safety: on 17th November at the opening meeting of Tecnologia talking about safety of large events, where Expo 2015, the Olympics and the Football World Cup will be the focus; on 18th November the focus will be on innovation in city safety (an approach based on new integrated technologies, dedicated to urban security planners) and on 19th November on the protection of those critical infrastructures for traditional and renewable energy production, where public/private sector cooperation may prevent accidents and criminal attacks.


Energy and safety are the keywords of the INAIL seminar, energy consumption sustainability and management in the modern construction industry; whilst ANVU and Milan Municipal Council will organise (18th and 19th November) the first International Police Forum, dedicated to recognising document falsification and techniques for the preventions and suppressing of the use of false/counterfeit documents (in parallel with a technical scientific “workshop”).


The magazine Sicurezza (Safety) (Il Sole 24 Ore newspaper, Business Media section) will tackle the following theme: Interconnecting video IP solutions: Comparing standard ONVIF and PSIA, in an event that will involve producers, system installers, projects planners, consultants and end users.


And finally, the associations ASSIVM, AIPS and AIPROS will present the latest legal updates, from the legal bill for formal recognition of the role of Professional Safety System Installer, to certification of safety products, from integrated safety of critical infrastructures and hotels on the occasion of large trade fair events, to best technical practices (fire prevention and safety)
