In September, the exhibition season reopens with one of the most long-awaited events, the International Home Show Macef , whose autumn edition takes place from Thursday 9 to Sunday 12.

A new concept and new areas, major events and, especially, important projects to add value to design and style. High decoration, Tables, Silverware & Kitchen, Gift Items, Trade & Big volume, Jewellery, gold, fashion & accessories are the traditional exhibition areas. However, Macef widens its traditional setting to new areas: Outdoor, Gardening and Pet (namely, the time spent outdoors and with animals). Macef’s renewed concept already appears in the renovated website ( www.macef.it ), where visitors can pre-register and purchase tickets at discounted prices.

Milano Unica will be staged in the spaces of fieramilanocity just before Macef, from 8th to 10th September. The eleventh edition of the Italian Exhibition of high-end fabrics and accessories will open under favourable auspices with an increase of exhibitors (over 450) and of the exhibition spaces.

September also sees the debut of a new exhibition: InterCHARM MILANO , the fair dedicated to Perfumery, Cosmetics, Hairdressing, Beauty salons, Nail Care and Packaging, organized by Reed Exhibitions Group, which, with over 440 events in 36 countries, is a world leader in organizing trade fairs. InterCHARM MILANO celebrates beauty from 18 through to 20, occupying three halls of fieramilanocity. Many are the initiatives put in place to ensure an added value to the many expected trade visitors. Alongside the exhibition spaces, events, seminars, conferences and demonstrations will offer a complete experience for professional update and a 360-degree view on the world of beauty and cosmetics.

Among the strengths of the new event, the location in Milan, the international capital of fashion and design and the choice of September, which traditionally mobilizes the fashion system and the fair activity with important events, from Mipel (International Market of Leather Goods and Accessories, which will be staged at Fiera Milano from 19th to 22th with about 400 exhibitors on 30,000 sq m of exhibition space) and the concomitant Micam , the International Footwear Exhibition.

The fashion world will also be represented by MI Milano Prêt à Porter at fieramilanocity from September 24 to 27. Mi Milano Prêt-à-Porter opens to all the vital creativity of designers, to insights, to companies’ new products and ideas, to the interest and curiosity of international buyers, with a winning formula that confirms itself as a platform for innovation in fashion, a revival of made in Italy products and the discovery of new international designers. The expo will present the eagerly awaited event Milan Fashion Now , an international exhibition of "ready and programmed”, scheduled from September 24 to 27. In conjunction with MI Milano Prêt à Porter, the third edition of Milan Fashion Now is set to represent an event of great importance, which is able to meet the requirements of more discerning buyers of fashion, proposing a complete offer of goods.
